As the great white moon stretches its glowing face across the northern rim of the sky and it’s
softly glowing beams filter down to the ground below, night begins to stir within the small fairy
forest. The pixies and the elves, the gnomes and the troll, why even the shy wood nymphs
begin to emerge into the pale moonlight of this special night. Watching and waiting intently
for Chandara to appear. This night Chandara will stand on her ice pillar to show her devotion
to the moon Mother and to ask for her help. The winter has been harsh and cruel for her
friends in the Realm, the evil Lord of the north winds has grow very strong and Chandara has
used all her strength to fight him. Chandara beseeches the moon Mother for strength and for
a silent wish that she could stay in the Realm with all her friends. She gets so lonely in her ice
mountain, but she knows she must leave, for the first buds of spring must bloom and the new
grass must sprout . Chandara’s strength is almost spent she will have to call Ziath the white
dragon, to fly her to her mountain, but first she has one more task to complete, she must send
her magic deep into the frozen earth to awaken the first blooms of a new season.
